This walk is a section of the Fife Coastal Walk and is particularly nice with lots of bird life and views out to sea. The walk is mostly on paths by the shore apart from the section passing through Pittenweem and Anstruther which will be pavements. The walk should take about 3.5 hours. Max advises to bring a snack, water and suitable walking shoes and clothing. Poles if you need them.
Directions to Pittenweem Tidal Pool Carpark from Stirling. Short written directions to Carpark coming from St Monance:
From St Monance Take the coast road A917 into Pittenweem and take the third road junction on your right (University Ave). After 400 ft turn right onto West Braes and bear slight left into the car park.
