Richard Kilborn: Growing old gracefully - the long documentary

This talk explores the type of longitudinal documentary epitomised by Michael Apted's well-known Seven Up series, which has now been running for almost fifty years. Long docs - as Richard likes to call them - set out to trace the course of people's lives over a considerable span of years, typically from early childhood till adulthood and beyond.
