Walk to Braco Castle

Thursday 27 April - 10:30am
Meet at the car park at the Crieff end of Braco, just prior to the bridge leaving the village, at 10.30am

Braco is the site of an important Roman camp used as a springboard for Roman incursions into the highlands so I propose we have a look at the site prior to the walk. The walk itself is an easy stroll of about 5 miles, walking on paths and tracks by the  Knaik River up to the castle and their gardens. There is charge of £5:00 per person for entrance into the gardens. The gardens would be a good stop for a coffee but, as there are no facilities other than toilets, bring your own snack.  The return is by the Mill Pond back onto the Feddal Road by the primary school. There is a good cafe in Braco serving coffee,  cakes and soup etc.

Please let Max know if you intend to come on the walk.
