Stephanie's outline of the day is as follows:
11 a.m. Meet at Hollytree Lodge FK14 7JW where we will be given tea or coffee and will then tour the garden. It's small but interesting and will take less than an hour.
12.15 Lunch at Mona's in Muckhart, just up the road from the garden. Peter and Stephanie checked it out and it's a cheerful place with seating inside and out and it serves good soup, sandwiches, salads and home baking.
1 p.m. onwards Drive to the Japanese Garden which is about 5 minutes down the road. Members can spend as long as they want seeing the garden which is open until 5 p.m. There is a small cafe there as well.
Can you please let Stephanie know if you are interested in joining this visit on 15 May? Also please tell her if you will take a car or if you want a lift with someone. She promised the people at Mona's that she would give them an idea of numbers beforehand so that they can reserve some tables. You may choose to have lunch elsewhere, perhaps in Dollar. If so, please let Stephanie know so that she does not include you in her numbers. All meals and snacks will be charged to you yourself on the day. She's waiting to hear the entrance charge for Hollytree Lodge; the Japanese Garden charge £5.50 for entrance and she's asked if there's a charge for an accompanied tour.
