Walk: Crieff to Muthill

Friday 18 November - 10:00am
PLEASE NOTE THAT MAX AND FIONA HAVE YET TO TRIAL THIS WALK AND SO THERE MAY BE ALTERATIONS TO THE ARRANGEMENTS.

Parking in Crieff can be problematic  therefore the walk will start from the Crieff visitors centre https://www.crieff.co.uk/, which is on the left as you enter Crieff from Muthill. Parking is free and there is plenty of room. There are toilets, a cafe and a shop opening at 09:00 daily. The bus timetable has changed to run every two hours which is not ideal so we will reverse the walk and take the bus to Muthill and walk back.

We will start the walk by getting the 11.05 bus to Muthill from the visitors centre. We will be walking on a minor road and made paths. The paths can be muddy in places so appropriate footwear is advised. The walk is linear along the banks of the River Earn and through woodland; if we are lucky we may spot large flocks of geese which graze on fields near the river.

This is not a long walk, approximately 4.5 miles, but do pack a snack and bring your bus pass.
