Eric Shaw will give a talk entitled The Red Flag and the Union Jack in Cottrell 2X6.
To introduce his topic Eric says: 'I'm writing a book at present with Gerry Hassan entitled "The Red Flag and the Union Jack" which is, as you might guess, all about the Labour party, Britishness, patriotism and so forth and situates contemporary debates in a historical context.'
