Friday 29 March - 10:00am
THE DATE HAS CHANGED FROM 14 TO 29 MARCH The route consists of paths which can be very muddy, tarmac and rough pasture which is wet and a bit tussocky so boots and gaiters and poles are advised.

Max writes: We will start the walk at 10:00. Allow 3 hours for the walk; it is 6.52 miles according to my GPS. Take a snack. Park at the Field of Refuge car park in Comrie (south of Dalginross Bridge). The toilets are in Comrie North of Dalginross Bridge. We will head west along the river Earn leaving the village as we follow the river, after approx half a mile leaving the river path and picking up a tarmac service road taking us to the South Crieff Road which we follow until we reach a farm track.

The farm track rises steadily to about 300ft giving great views prior to dropping down to a way-marked core path walk which we follow passing Mill of Fortune to reach the Glascorrie road. We cross the Langside road onto a rough pasture which will take us down to CultyBraggan camp then picking up the Water Of Ruchil path to Comrie.

The route may be adjusted according to underfoot conditions and weather.
